Lameness Investigations
Equipped with a broad range of mobile diagnostic equipment, including digital radiography units, portable ultrasound scanners and mobile gastroscopes and endoscopes, comprehensive lameness and poor performance assessments can be performed at your premises.
Our modern diagnostic equipment allows for rapid interpretation, often enabling us to advise you straight away on the most appropriate course of treatment.
Our experienced team of veterinary surgeons includes advanced veterinary practice certificate holders in equine lameness diagnostics, therapeutics and equine practice, as well as an equine internal medicine specialist and a member (and examiner) of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists’ Chapter of Equine Medicine.
This helps to ensure that whatever the cause of a horse’s performance issues, our team is well placed to help get them healthy and well-performing again.
If sufficient facilities aren’t available at your horse’s own stables, then patients can be brought into our clinic.
Our hard trot-up, large diameter lunge pen and indoor and outdoor arenas allow us to fully assess your horse, whatever the weather.
We offer a wide variety of treatments, tailored to each client’s needs and budget, and we work alongside a variety of other equine professionals.
We believe that a team approach to evaluation and treatment of both lameness and poor performance ensures our patients have the best possible chance of a rapid and sustained recovery.
